These two scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings from World War II that were from US newspapers which cover the War begining to End. I'm not sure who actually made them, they were my grandfather's. He actually served in the War with the 157th infantry so I don't believe he could have kept them himself. He took 100's of pictures while he was serving and I have those pictures along with the camera he used to take them. I'm not sure if there is a collector that would be interested in these scrapbooks or if they'd be worth anything. If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate them. I can tell you one thing they are definetly original and one of a kind, they are interesting and cover all aspects of the War. Thanks for your comments! Dawny572@aol.com
I think this is priceless. Would dearly love to read through it. This period of our history was so traumatic and lasting that it facinates me so anything like this is hard to find and so interesting when you do.

It might be worth something someday, as I have seen a couple of old aviation scrapbooks at auction go for 800 dollars. the historical context might make it worth something to a collector, but it depends on the buyer. Most collectors of WWII memorabilia collect full news clippings as well as war used memorabilia, but some people like the story behind the object.
