This vintage fire truck is heavy and large (28L x 10W x 15H ) , built solid of wood and steel materials. The ladders are removable and tires composed of heavy thick rubber and steel spokes. The mystery : what year was this fire truck built, what company made it or could this be a one of a kind hand built model? Thank you for your response.

I can't solve the mystery but can tell you that it is not one of a kind. I live in New Zealand and manage a charity shop this same fire engine has just been donated to my shop minus the fireman and water hose but everything else matches perfectly with the photos and information you have provided. I came across your post while trying to find out the same things to get an idea on what to sell it for.

I bought one of these and found that other people who have one are also wondering who made them. After much research I found that it's a Leonardo Luna Sculpture 28 hook and ladder steam engine fire truck and that they are rare.
