Not too old and not of great value. This 31 day Waltham chime clock was given as a reward for safety on the railroad. It reads Safety through Quality. Union Pacific logo. A continuing tradition. I really don't recall what year my husband received this. It was distributed by Spartus Corporation in Louisville, Mississippi. I thought perhaps some railroad collectors might find it of some interest. I do have lots of RR items I will get around to posting. mary
Such a beautiful and well made Waltham clock. Not sure what it is about giving clocks as awards, but I received a large Bulova wall clock for my 25th year award at my job 6 years ago. Love your clock!!!
Oh, and great new profile pic Mary!!
Great post, and nice to "meet" you, Mary!
Pascale
Waltham Clocks and Watches go way back with Railroads in the U.S. Thanks for sharing and welcome to C.W.!
jscott, thanks for the love and the complement on my picture! The last profile pic was one of those taken in a shop where you "dress up" in old time garb for fun. I liked that for this as it went with the theme of old time stuff. However, I was much younger then and this photo is more to date. Pascale, thanks for the comment and it is nice to meet you as well! And Bruce99, I knew the RR gave out clocks and watches. I did not know that Waltham was tradition. He retired last year after 43 years and received a watch on that occasion. I do feel quite welcome on CW and am enjoying it so very much. Thank you!

thanks for the love, shawnicus. It is a nice clock. However, I believe, as with most things, it is not as nice as in years past. It makes a nice keepsake for our children.
My apologies for not reacting sooner to comments and loves. I've been busy lately and not had much time for my new favorite pastime! Many thanks to toolate2, martika, fleafinder and WatchClockWatcher for loving the clock!
Thank you pw-collector for loving the clock.
