I'd like your opinions on this lovely period Meissen cup. It's not quatrefoil shape, it's more fluted than that. It is astonishingly well painted, you can even see the folds in the clothes of the boatmen. It's very small and has a wonderful twist handle. There's no damage, rings when tapped. It has a pink ground, panels of pink with flowers and the scenic panels framed by white and gilt, even gilt border on the inside. All the painting is amazing and I feel I know quality when I see it. It's just an oddity I picked up, it's too fancy for my Art Deco preferences! It's a mini work of art, I know it would have had a saucer but it's all alone. It's lovely and interesting but I'm aware it could be a copy or a later piece, however it's so well painted I doubt that it's 'wrong' but I may be wrong myself. Any help appreciated.

beautiful!
Anyone hazard a guess at this items age?
Your cup is possibly from the 1700’s and painted by Helena Wolfsohn..if you google her name and add porcelain...you will see more, similar to yours..hope this has helped...:-)
Thank you for your help.
Is this Meissen or later, what do you think?
