A fairly large Kralik "Zigzag" vase measuring around 8 1/2" (21.5 cm) tall and about 7 1/2" (19 cm) at the widest diameter. It features a zigzag decor of brown and orange on a clear background.
The rim on this vase is rather sloppy compared to what I am used to seeing - any chance Kralik had a "factory seconds" department?

I see what you mean about the rim. It might well be part of the manufacture of the zig zag. I think it is a beauty.

are there three dents (indentations) on the body of the vase? It might be FUNK- another glass company from Germany, they made a rim like that and many glass decors that look like Welz/Kralik. email me if you need some samples

Thanks jericho - I would be interested in seeing the FUNK glass. I had a feeling that in calling this Kralik I might be over-stepping my pay grade. But to be clear, there are no indentations - it's like a big glass bag.

I've had a chance to look up Funk Brothers Glass now. From what I've seen the wavy rim on the Funk pieces looks very intentional. The rim on this piece seems quite accidental and is really only wavy about half the way around.
