    Only markings are made in Japan, slight damage around tusks, does anyone know if its valuable , think approx 100 years old

      Not 100 years old. The "Made In Japan" labeling began appearing on products made after WWII. This looks like molded resin. Valuable? No, not really. It's what is known as "kitsch".
