This kettle-pot is all cast iron. It is about 16 inches around. And 20 to 25 lbs
I am guessing. I have ask every older person I know as well as everyone I know that has any knowledge of antiques. Also I have looked all over the internet. Even doing a Google image search. But I can not find anything on it. I am thinking it was used to heat water in bath houses and or for laundry in the old west...? Thanks in advance for any help.

think it had something to do with cow milking ...?

It does look like a Surge belly milker can but it appears to be cast iron (?). Milk containers would not be made of iron. Or is it just really dirty? If it's stainless steel then it's part of a Surge milker.
