This looks for all the world like Art Nouveau Jugendstil. The flowers were applied by hand. The inside looks like brass, but isn't - nonmagnetic. The outside looks like extremely patinated silver plate. Only the narrow edge of the foot base attracts my magnet, as do the flowers. The bowl is heavy about 2 pounds. Measures 6" across and 2 1/4" high. No marks whatsoever.
I'm going to clean up the inside a bit and leave the rest as it is.

Could be a sister to the bowl you recently posted. Are they both the same size. So lovely.
Gillian - yes, both bowls are identical aside from the missing patina on the bowl in the link. Someone polished it to within an inch of it's life, it appears.
