Another plaque my mother-in-law acquired in Canada. I think it is a Thunderbird? The initials on the back say JCA, I think?

Yes, could be. Likely you won't find the artist on the web, as these items are made for the tourist trade. The bird is a raven.
I belive it is the Thunderbird looking at The Squamish first nations website.
