This was my mother-in-law's. Can't find a stamp anywhere. I love the design on both sides. I don't think it is gold because it is really light and there is no stamp. Of course I'm new at this so I could be wrong.
No, it's definitely not gold. See the vertical lines in the bail (the part where the chain goes through)? That is common on costume jewelry pieces. Also, the bit where the bail is hooked through is flat and angled. If it were gold, that would be rounded.

It's a collectible for sure but doesn't have a high dollar value. I again, not positive but they range from $20-$50. I hope this helps. Enjoy it, I where all my vintage Avon stuff and get tons of compliments from multiple people.
