I assume this is Czechoslovakian but that is about the extent of my ability. I have attempted to match it up with a few reference sites but have had no luck - guidance will be appreciated.
Vase stands 10" (25 cm) tall. The diameter at the top is 3 3/4" (9.5 cm). The exterior is not cased, giving the piece a tactile texture. To me, it looks like slices of orange-cased-in-yellow canes were applied to a clear ground that was blown into a mold, pulled, cut from the top, then cobalt blue handles were added to make the colors pop. The foot is slightly concave and has a diameter of 3 1/4" (8 cm).
Artfoot, that blurred profile pic is really bugging me ! LOL !
I don't know Czech glass really but it looks Czech to me too. Fantastic choice of colours, intense spatter, and such a great shape!
It says Kralik to me! Nice size too!
Here's an uncased blue handled vase I posted recently which I feel is probably Kralik, but definitely Czech: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/189622-kralik-lime-green-and-red-uncased-splatt
Hello blunderbuss - moving targets are harder to shoot. :-)
