A great piece of mid century glass from Japan made by Radio Glass.
Radio generally made this type of finely cased mould blown glass.
The blue glasses I posted earlier today are a bit out of their usual style.
This happy yellow piece is white internally with a yellow layer and a very thin clear casing over that.
You may have noticed this looks similar in style to the decanter I posted previously that was labelled Majolican. I am still investigating but I think there is a good chance they came from the same glass factory.
Height 20cm
First one I've seen like this - really pretty!
Gorgeous, Karen. First glance it looked like Tango, but I knew it wouldn't be :) Perhaps you too have a soft spot for kitchen/tableware in the glass you collect!
That shade of yellow is really great!!!!
love the yellow!! stunning color and design!!
Thanks Bonnie - New to me too and very happy!
I have often thought Tango very cool and am happy the Japanese did this nice cased glass. I love it when I get a nice bit of glass that's useful too. One vase less, which is always good!
Thanks Scott and Sean. It's a happy yellow!
