I have been researching this lamp that i picked up at a garage sale. The very bottom has a threaded hole , it is all brass . The glass is very thick and has bubbles in it along with dripped glass stings from production. It also has three 1/16 wire protecting the glass. It does have a patent date on the wick thumb wheel. I have had no success using the patent date, any leads would be great.
This was originally a peg lamp. The glass peg was meant to go into a candle holder. Someone felt they needed a threaded hole in the peg for a different application. So that is where you are today.
