I believe this to be the same brand of slot car set I had when I was about 6 years old. The cars have survived well, might even function but no controllers were in the box. Can't expect much for 5 dollars these days, so happy to have 90 percent of the set. Box is a bit ragged, tires are wear cracked, but cool to display as is.

Is this somewhere in the 1970s?
Eldon was done production in 1970 according to a slot car forum. Probably quite a few sets were still being retailed in the early seventies but were quickly being replaced in the market by the much better smaller sets that Aurora toys were dominant in. Thanks for the comment. : )

It was worth it just for that Corvette.
That was my thoughts on it fortapache. :) Hopefully I find another five dollar set with the controllers so I can try it out.
