My husband and I found this vase at a thrift store. We already have a bowl and vase that is similar so we added this to the collection. I've looked on many sites to try to find the symbol on the bottom. It is stamped/painted in red ink and has the word Japan. The vase is about 9 inches tall. It has a gold rim at the top. On the front is a warrior with a bow and arrows riding a horse. There is more writing to the right of the warrior. Can anyone help us with information about this or what the writing may say? Thank you! Janiebee

Thanks Dizzydave! I spent a couple hours on the site before posting. I was hoping someone knew what was written on the side too.
