"Our Country" (A Random Inspirational Call For Change)

Our Country-- and this goes for every country-- may not be the best. There may be much hate, pain, poverty, despair, greed, cruelty, etc., but it's what we have. So let's make the most of it.

We could let the problems get to us, and in so doing become a problem; or, we can seek to be different and lead others with kindness, understanding, space, comfort, love, respect, friendship, giving, etc.

Your tone, your word-choice, your actions, your timeliness, etc.-- all make a difference. Sometimes we say and do things, or don't, that we don't mean, and that leads to damage. We can sit around and hope the problem goes away, or we can let others know they're valued when we take control of our mistakes. It can take time, but it can often be done.

We do not (nor will we ever in this world) have the same opinions, ideas, feelings, responses, hopes, fears, etc. So don't take advantage of other's differences to feel better about your own, but be careful to show the good in you towards others and always try to understand where they are coming from in things.

Things are not in black and white. There is much grey in between. We were all made unique, and in our uniqueness we can make much joy. So why choose to separate? Unique and Unite both start with U.

No idea where all that came from. Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night to write down random bursts of whatever comes to mind.
