Hi CW Gang:
~ HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY ~
I found this today and it made me very happy. As I had posted this item before here:
http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/170737-another-old-rare-canadian-pottery--dan
But is has some chips on it, and a little rough. TODAY on the other hand I found another that is in PERFECT CONDITION and with the label on it. I imagine under the carpet on the bottom, the mark would be intact. I am so happy to find this one is SUPER, SUPER condition as it is a very old and rare piece of Canadian Pottery. In fact all I can find on it is very little.
Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

A Danesi copy of the Blue Mountain Pottery angelfish appeared on eBay in June and sold for $45. It’s slightly smaller size indicated that it was molded from a Blue Mountain Pottery original...""

Oooh, you lucky duck!
lol @ Efesgirl -- yes, and I think it might be a little more special ( I think ). As I am not sure -- but the Deere on it reminds me of the John Deere logo.

So just doing some digging to see if the deere logo might be related to John Deere or not..........the saga continues....LOL
Ticks all of your boxes Rose: Danesi, great condition, AND a John Deere like motif.
Congratulations.
Besides all that, it's a great looking piece!
boot-leg John Deere?
@gargoylecollector -- LOL, could be. But I think it is from around the 1950's if so. Not much info on the company
