Hello everyone.
This is one of my favourite rings.....I was wearing it today, so thought you might like to see it.
Hallmarked with the old 9c mark (quite worn but can be made out), with curb links which have some etched type patterning on some of the links.
I get lucky with the size of the rings that I buy....they usually fit either the ring finger or as a pinky ring. It is such a comfortable ring, worn to that silky feel!
I did find an advert for a gold curb ring in an 1899 Australian newspaper, but it wasn't clear enough to post here unfortunately......so not sure if this ring would be that old, but it certainly isn't modern either.

I can't wear 8ct or 9ct - the gold content is too low and my finger/ear/neck turns black. :-(((
Bonnie...I would be very upset if that happened to me with gold.....would cut down my choice of ring to wear daily by lots!!!! That used to happen when I tried to wear silver years ago......maybe I have been wearing better silver now as it doesn't happen any more thank goodness! Thanks for the love!!
