    Hope someone can help me identify this awesome sofa i found at Goodwill.
    It's been re-upholstered and on the inside back foot is imprinted VICTORIAN ,Looks like it was stamped or burnt in,I would appreciate any imput.

      Wow it does look like ours; we still haven't found any additional info on ours, so I can't be of any help. It's beautiful, though; I can't believe you found this at Goodwill, and in such great condition. What a fabulous find!! Let's keep each other posted with any new developments.

      If this is an original couch it would of been filled with horsehair for stuffing..this couch if original..it looks to be would of been made late 1800's-1910

      found out it is Duncan Phyfe.still not sure if it's real (1830-1840)or d.p. style(1920-1940).I found one just like mine on 1stdibs.com

      Just a thought - if you intend to keep your sofa in front of a window, as in the photo, you run the risk of the material fading from the sun. Perhaps move it so it's not in direct sunlight.

      If i decide to keep it,i will probably have it reupholstered ,but thank you,and it will be moved.
