    I found this nice chawan at Goodwill the other day. does anyone recognize the chop marks / seal? i'd love to know more about it.

      Ha! thanks vetraio and racer! i guess that the larger mark is for red raku, which i'd never heard of.

      the smaller mark is a kiln mark, and this is highly unusual for a piece of red raku.
