A simple but elegant spatter vase - it's maybe just my inexperience but this piece seems a bit different to me than the "inter-war" period Czechoslovakian glass in my collection. It is a smallish vase measuring under 6 1/2" (16 cm) tall and 2 1/8" (5.5 cm) across the top. The colored frit is all on the exterior and it is not cased. The interior ground seems to have a slight amber cast. The natural light photographs make the colors bright - the piece is considerably darker sitting on an indoor shelf.

I love the comments - keep 'em coming.

      So Czech! Confetti heaven :)

The colored frit seems to have been fired several times to produce a texture as well as specled color. I just call these "uncased" confetti (spatter). This shape is great if you can find the other sizes that display well together
