Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound

A vintage bottle of Lydia E. Pinkhams Vegetable Compound. This was made to ease that time of the month for women. First made in mass production in 1876 it is still sold today. With its 13 1/2% alcohol content it is unlikely that it is over the counter.
It was considered quack medicine at the time and with the high alcohol content that is highly likely.
In the early 1920s the alcohol content had to be printed on the label so it seems this is from around that time. According to the label the alcohol was a preservative and a solvent.
There is a fair amount of embossing on the bottle which is typical of older bottles. Also it is full and the cap comes off. Who wants to volunteer to take a swig?
