In May I spent a few days in Vilnus, where we went on a family trip.
Walking around the city ,we got lost and landed in an industrial part of the city.To my surprise I saw a glass shop full of art glass.I wouldn't be me if I hadn't jumped into.I wanted to get something as a souvenir but every item that I'd chosen came to be Spanish,Polish,Russian but not Lithuanian.
Finally it turned out that just small glass animals were Lithuanian.
I'm not a great fan of such stuff but love penguins ,so with a little help of my daughter,we eventually took this one.
After getting back home, a week or two later,I removed all the labels it had been coverd and found this (pic 3).Another surprise...
Maybe I'll start collecting penguins...
That's a bad surprise, Ivonne! Still,a nice reminder of your holiday and penguins are pretty cute!
