Robinsstuff
(1 item)
This bottle was given to me by a friend to sell for them. I may end up buying it from them myself because it is such an interesting shape. I could really use some help in identifying this. Any information would be helpful.
I do not know anything about its history. The leather pieces on the bottle are in poor condition and looks as if it is missing several pcs. Most of the words on the remaining labels (with the exception of the oval labels on top of each section) can be read clearly. Readable words from each side are: Colonel General des Gordes Francois Louis Antoine Gontaul - 2. Francois Bonne de Lesdiguieres...... Cette. Charge fut.... .... de Louis XIII en.....
(.... represents words that are cut off or not complete on the edges of the label.) 3. Francois Loredano Doge de ...... ..... Republique de ........
Measurements are 9-1/2" tall, 4-1/2" wide across bottom, top is approx.
1-1/2" The glass is green and has a lot of bubbles in it. There is a seam line on the outside edge of each "section"
