    I bought this beauty years ago at a yard sale up the road near me...I never did find out its origin but I did see one similar in a museum on display in a cabinet..what pattern and make is it?

      I think this type of design is called Sprigware or sprigging. I have a cup and saucer of similar type, and a friend said it was popular in the 1830's, though I think there was a revival of the patterns later.

      AdeleC seems to be correct. I think it is Sprig Ware.
