My grandfather trained there.
I trained there, and was also stationed at NAS Pensacola. 2 great historic Naval Bases.....
When I was station there, I never had time to take in and appreciate the grand architecture, I do recognise the mess hall, as we went there 3 times a day....in and out with only 10 minutes to eat!
I was there in 1957. Never remembered how it looked. Thanks for posting the pic
I was at NTC Orlando...Isn't it amazing what we didn't see ! These were in my Grandfathers belongings.
