    Hi there!
My Uncle has this Rocking Chair that originally belonged to my Great Grandparents and we think they got it around 1920 or before. We have never seen another one like it but we would like to know information about it. It has claw feet and is quite large in size. My Uncle found a photo of a woman sitting on it wearing clothes that looked to be from the 1900s. I believe he also has a matching settee. I have been searching the internet but I was not able to find a similar one. Thank you! If anything knows anything about it, it would be wonderful to know :)

Its american made and made in the Empire Style. The dates you have sound correct or could be from 1900 or so.
