My aunt lived in Japan for years and told me when she bought this it was an antique and I'd like to know more about it. She passed away 35 years ago and I really don't know much about this item. It measures 11 inches tall and 7 inches at the widest part and seems to be Clay

Definitely a samurai and I'm pretty sure Japanese. Hoping to find out time period and a little more info about it. Thanks

Omg. That's amazing. I have googled all kinds of things and looked on eBay and you found what looks to be very much the same. Thank you very much now I'm going to Google all about that that's great.
