Corocraft brooch and matching earrings

Flea market find from today, yay! At first I found only the earrings and had the feeling they are designer piece, only there was no mark - then I saw the brooch. I was not sure if these 2 belong together as the blue rhinestones on earrings are darker colour than on the brooch, but the seller saw me and said aah this set, and told me the set is EUR 2.50. He had lot of stuff so I took out some interesting jewelry and the seller said the total price (with the set included) is 10 EUR, which I paid happily.
First time I could check what I have was at home, and yay! my first Corocraft!
As said only the brooch is signed. There is written Corocraft in script and below something I cannot read properly, might it be Pat.Pend? No Pegasus.
And how old is this? 1950s ?
What do you think about the earrings, do these 2 belong together?
