Stands at 9 inches and at the base is 7 inches. The artist inscribed the piece as 'NJF' with '75 under it on left side.
It has a slight crack in the front. I hope you enjoy pictures.

I doubt this is a stone sculpture. Looking at the bottom you can see pieces of clay that are stuck on. In general sculptures are much smoother and well defined than this piece.
I don't know how a large hollow could be made in the bottom without it damaging the surrounding material.
