Hello everyone.
Pops52 as requested.
This is the only "love token" I have and it came attached to the silver albertina chain, so that is where it has stayed along with the gorgeous little tassle fob.
It is a British Four Pence coin dated 1838.....Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837, and the reverse is engraved "Eva 1897" and measures approx 17mm diameter.
The watch is one I bought later, not really sure how old, but it is silver and marked with 925 and an import mark, and it works, so that's a bonus!
I think it all looks lovely together and I have worn it once or twice!

Thanks for the link .... they are all so beautiful!!! We have a couple of men's ones, but nothing as wonderful as yours, but only I other lady's watch and chain. We do love them though!

I meant to say also, on the "Love Token" site I was surprised to see they had listed a lot of ww2 Sweetheart and / or Trench Art pieces made with Australian silver coins!! I had not thought of these as love tokens before.....but I guess they are really.... just modern ones!
