Picked up a pair of these at the flea market yesterday. They stand about 13" tall and weigh almost 40 pounds each.
Anyone have any info as to their origin or original purpose?

I have two, but someone painted mine. Most are made of cast iron. It's a copy of a plastic piggy bank, it's the same size. I think someone was making them from the piggy bank mold, because I have one the mold must of moved it's a little messed up.
