Hi dear all!
I got this in Israel in a flea market and I was told it was some kind of Berber container for make up, lipstick and so on. I got another thing from the same guy and I found out finally that was a fake, so I got a lot of doubts with this one. Do you think is real and if it is so, any idea of what it is for real or where can it be from?

Nothing to do with Berber lipstick.

Apparently is called Pandan Box. It carries spices which the married women die their hair root with. About the peacock:

Not that clear that it is not an antique but the value is very low. All this info just in case anybody has the same doubts in CW. :)
