"FOLK ART" baby tops & cop the cream milk bottles

Interesting uses for baby top & cop the cream milk bottles were found many years ago. Pictured here are quart milk bottles that have been painted by the customers for various uses around their home. Some bottles were painted as shown, filled with sand, dirt, or other material & used as early home door stops. Others were painted & just displayed around homes. Whatever the purpose, these "folk art" style milk bottles are highly collectable & make great additions to milk bottle collections. Nice art work & imagination was used in the personalization of these bottles.

The Associated Dairy from Los Angeles California is the only dairy to have used dressed/painted baby top milk bottle as promotion items. Their dressed/painted baby top milk bottles have been found in a quart & pint size variation. The Associated baby top bottles are painted in the head & neck area only.
