This beautiful purse has been been in the family for many years, but no one seems to know where it is from. I have tried some antique dealers with no luck. Inside there is a small mirror. Inside nest to the hinge is tiny text with some type of maker name and then "Paris". The cover feels like some type of wood, or maybe tortoise shell.
Any ideas?
