I inherited this when my mother passed away. The only thing I know about it is that it is stamped Nippon with an M in a wreath. I have search and not found anything like it anywhere. I like the hand painted hut house scenery, very soothing.

The vase is very gorgeous - though like the piece at the top in brown, white and black? Looks a little out of place. But what do I know!
Gillian, it is brown. The color around the the top matches the handles and all the brown accents. The lights not the best and the camera did not do a good color depiction.
