I have an old doll that I thought was a vinyl doll, but not so sure what it is actually made of.
I attempted to wash the doll. Good news is I found color on the eyes still...
bad news though I let the doll slip into the sink and the stuffed body got messed up.
Got any advise on how to fix the body anyone?
What is stamped on the back of the neck?
Nope, nothing on the neck and no tag/label has been stitched into it anywhere that I can tell.
I'll try to get a new picture up soon!
She is what happened to many old rubber dolls they got dark and cracked . It was a type of rubber mix.
I typed wrong so what I meant as a new type of Plastic ( lastic) It was a unknown mix but was pliable like rubber but as it aged it became hard and discolored .
Here is your doll

Thanks Manikin!!!
How can I clean the body?
WHAT!!I thought it was African.American doll. and now we see it started out Caucasian??
I was curious about the "blue" eyes myself...
I hate to say it, but the baby-doll has the ugliest face I have ever seen . It is nightmarish. Imagine sending your little girl to beddy-bye with a terror like this!
I can't stop laughing. I'm sorry, but this is the scariest, funniest doll ever. Thanks for posting it.
