I found this about 15 years ago. It has a kind of sea foam green undercoat, with slate-gray and bluish glazes (some in a zigzag pattern), with white painted semi-circle lines under a clear glaze. It is 9" in diam. X 2" high.
It looks like it could be a pipe or tobacco bowl/tray. It has the 3 bowls with, what looks like, (3 pipe rests?) indentations between the bowls. I say tobacco, as it looks like there is a slight tobacco residue on each side of one of the rests.
I could be way off, I am not sure? It has a hand painted signature on the bottom over some glaze with clear coat on top of it. Makes it a little hard to read, but I thought maybe someone here could help me figure this one out. It has been a mystery to me all these years.
I found it at a local thrift store and this area has a highly populated Scananavian culture. Might be? First name looks like Amboroff or Ambaroft. Last name, Nolandorn????
If anyone has any clue, I would sure appreciate your input.....
