Looking for information on this doll. It was probably my grandmother's which would put it in the early 1900s. It has a fluffy cloth covered body with covers on the hands and feet, the face is plastic. No trade names anywhere visible on the body.

No not that old more like 1960s-70s from what I can see I can not see a close up of face it is blurry to tell what head is made of and does she have a backside to her head or does it feel like cloth on back of head . Please post with hat off if it comes off and maybe you could remove the close up and replace it with a clearer photo. Nice to have a doll that was your grandmothers :-) how tall is she ?

Thanks for the feedback. Family life just got busy for responding. Perhaps the story we got is wrong because if it was my mother's it would be from the 1940s and if it was my grandmother's it would have to be from the 20-30s. Perhaps it was just something my mother purchased later in life. The head is plastic and definitely feels like cloth around the back not plastic. The hat does not come off. Legs and arms are very bendable and seem to have a strong wire running through them. She is about 24 inches when straightened out from the tip of the pointed hat to the foot. I will try and get more pictures posted but we are leaving on a 2-week trip on Monday.
