    It is amazing what can be found when renovating a house.

    As we were tearing old drywall down from the walls during remodeling of a house, we were quite surprised to find about 30 of these signs nailed to the wall studs behind the drywall. I have no idea what purpose they could have served.... Careful demolition was done by everyone involved.

      People used everything but the kitchen sick for insulation! Maybe they thought they would soundproof the walls? Are they metal? What a treasure trove!

      I only found old newspapers under my 1920's in the closet & 1950's in the bedroom linoleum. Nothing in the walls.

      Yes...they are double sided metal signs.
