Let me say right up front - I have no good idea where or by who these were produced. I had always suspected they were Japanese but there were recently posted on an auction site a pair of tall vases like the one in the center of the first picture and the seller claimed that he had purchased the pair in Murano. The flower pot is a thicker glass, more like what I expect of Murano, and I can get a Venetian sort of vibe from the goblet-shaped vase - so, OK.... Then I found another of the goblet-shaped vases, this time with a paper label reading "Made in Czechoslovakia".

    Any thoughts?
