I was given these 2 lovely dolls 45 years ago, from my grandmothers neighbour, who told me they were her mothers, which makes them 100 years old or more. I think they are porcelain, they are 4 inch high with a little bit of detail on the faces, red shoes, the boy doll has a 8 on it's side on his back, I can not see any other makings. The boy has copper wire holding the arms and legs to the body, and the girl has copper wire holding her arms to her body. They both have a little damage, which was already there when I got them, but if I was 100 years old I would probably have damage too. This is all I know I realy would like some information on them and a idea on how much they are worth. Can anybody help me.

I would day they were made in Japan. Go through these pages to get an idea what you have there.
