I recently bought an old accordion The maker was Stephano Gherra in Turin Italy. I have attached pictures of the nameplate and the accordion. From my research, he made accordions from 1889-1933. this is very fascinating to us. We would like to know more about the history of this maker. Let us know if you have any information.
Hope to hear from you.
Regards,

I was forced to play accordion for about a year or two when I was about 6 or 7. I recall nothing about how to play the instrument. I fear I was a bit too young.
