My 1st carnival glass purchase! I found this @ a garage sale & thought I could learn about it online. I've spent hours researching already, but there is so much out there, and so many sights, I may never know. Does anyone else have any idea what this delightfully iredescent bowl is? Or when it was produced? Anything? Or maybe know of a site that is user friendly where I can learn about what I have? Thank you all for looking! thecatsmeowjdestree@yahoo.com is my email in case I never find this site again to look @ my responses, LOL!
it's a fruit bowl made by Indiana glass I believe.
It is Indiana Glass, circa 1970s and after
Thank-you so very much u 2! How do I know if I over payed?
Well Jessi, these go for a wide price range. You can find them anywhere from $10 to $20 and up, depending on the area and marketplace. If you love it, it's worth what you paid.
Here's a good site that has lots of info on this bowl:

I was thinking it could be carnival glass made by Fenton or Northwood, the Three Fruits by Northwood is a strong resembelence in the book I have. The identifying characteristics in my boo say: The pattern features a wreath of peaches cherries, and pears, leaves and a bunch of plump cherries in the center. Which is what it looks like to me in the 3rd pic you show. Production of this pattern centered between 1915 and 1916. Prices vary depending on type of bowl , size and color. I hope this is what you have if it is it is a good find. Also just looked up in my book it could be a =cousin of the Fruits and Flowers (Northwood) it is really difficult for me to tell from the pictures. A good book to reference is the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass by Mike Carwell has pics, descriptions and prices. Good Luck
O thanks, renee! I am nuts about antiques! It would b phenomenal if it were an older piece. That would b just incredible!
