    I recently found this beauty at an Estate Sale. I paid only $45 for this. It is so unique, so beautiful, and best of all, completely made out of a tree trunk...no nails used. The shelves attach by thin pieces of wood that go into an opening for them. I was told at another Estate Sale that this might be a Nakashima piece. Not sure if it is but I would love to hear anyone's opinion who may be familiar with something like this. I saw one other table on this website that looks so similar to this table. I wonder if they are made by the same artist. Not sure if this was made to be a plant stand type table or just a side table. Any one have any idea's?

      Not Nakashima. His tables don't look anything like yours. Not possible to say where it came from or who made it. I looked at a number of similar tables on the web, and I imagine you can use it for whatever you choose: a planter table, side table or coffee table, with or without the bottom shelves. I'm sure it looks great in your house!
