Rile's Creek Pyle Lighthouse - July, 2016 - Piedmont North Carolina

Hello everybody, I don't know if this is any sort of a collectable, but I would consider it an interesting piece of folk art for sure. This is a lighthouse I built entirely from scratch using Popsicle sticks, small pieces of wood, and tin; I tried my best to build it as close within the 1870s styling and design as I could. I call it the Rile's Creek Lighthouse, located in Western Piedmont North Carolina, built in July of 2016; a brand new state of the art lighthouse, ha! The old snail shell on the front serves as a sign and reads "Rile's Creek Lighthouse- Erected July, 2016. Unlike most other pieces of folk art like this, especially fragile ones made of Popsicle sticks, this building was created for to withstand the elements for years. It was built exactly as one would construct a real building, with a watertight tin roof, layered wood siding, sealed seams, good paint and weatherproofing finishes, and glass in the windows. Even the inside, as well as the outside, is decorated and has stained finished wood floors. It took probably right near 20 hours to build, and is one of many Popsicle stick houses I have built over the years, but it is by far the largest and most elaborate at about one and a half feet tall. It stands in the middle of our frog pond on cedar pylons as seen in image 3 ( the pylons appear longer than normal because the water is very low right now, and will rise another foot). I hope that this will provide inspiration for those who enjoy folk art, and might spark some ideas for one's own lighthouses and houses. Enjoy, and thank you!
