I have these earrings for ages now. I bought them years ago on flea market, they were maybe 5-6 EUR in todays money. They came with a box which I still have, but I am not able to find it right now (blush :D ). I used to wear them years ago (together with a black sweater it looked very stylish), but the wires are just too big for my ear piercing holes and it hurts to wear them so I dont wear them anymore.
I also once took them to the goldsmith, he said they look like gold but they are not, and he was not able to tell me which material they are from. He also said that the pink stones are glass. And he was not sure about the jade.
P.S. I found out where this was made: check the below video, 41:14:

OMG! They are so beautiful!!!
These earrings are great! Not Victorian, but they do have some age.
Thank you! How old are they?
Very pretty earrings!!!
I had 60s and 70s earrings which had a C clasp for the bottom of the shepherd's hook to keep it in place. Kind of hard to say exactly how old they are.
Efesgirl - Thank you - that is later than I thought! I did not know this type of tube hinge is still used. Very interesting! You know so much about costume jewelry!
Thank you everyone as well! Glad you like it!
I would take them to another jeweler. Sometimes they don't really want to take the time to look at others pieces. Only if you are buying, and that's just some jewelers, not all.
shareurpassion - Thank you! But that was cousin of my friend. At first he thought its gold but then he tested with chemicals before my eyes, and said no its not.
Beautiful !
they look like jewelry from India....
I have a pair of earrings from India with the same type of Shepards hook and c clasp...if I find them I will post.
melaniej, I agree! Looks like the style
How old are your earrings?

Thank you Martika!!
