I've been given this pretty little glass vase, which although small in stature (approx 6.5 inches tall), is very heavy in weight.

It has a beautiful colour to it... green, gold, even a purple & blue hue when it catches the light, plus dark coloured 'spots' in certain areas.

I'm trying to ascertain the makers of the vase, and hope someone would be kind enough to help me work out the signature on the base of the vase. An uneducated guess would by Mtarfa? I could be completely wrong on this and reading the signature upside down!

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
    Debbie.

I can't even see a signature - anyway to make it 'seeable'.

The photograph has been turned 90 degrees anti clockwise (I am unable to rectify this).
The signature is clearly across the base, grey-ish in colour, looking like a lightening strike.

Rub some white talc powder over the signature -- and post us another pic of it!!

Thank you for the tip of adding talc. Additional photo coming up.
