Hello everyone.
Don't know if you are familiar with these mirror glass pieces.......so hard to get a good picture so you can see how the colour really pops.
Bought about 6 years ago for $25.00 from a market......they are quite pricey these days.
These are a often described as "Vauxhall Glass", which they are not! I will put a link in comments which sorts this out, if you would like to have a read.
Anyway, this necklace is Czech made stepped mirror glass, backed with brass and roughly 1930s in age. I have seen necklaces that have this pattern all the way around them, so I am not sure if the chain is original to mine.....but I think it is lovely!!!

Such a classy piece Judy! I love the art deco design here and the addition of the little extras, like the bobble prongs (what would they really be called?) and the larger linking rings. Even the clasp is nicely done. I bet it looks absolutely gorgeous on you!
Thanks Karen, I think it is too!! "bobble prongs" sounds good to me haha......sorry... the old brain doesn't focus enough to search that kind of detail! Not like you with your glass.
And I do like to think it looks gorgeous on!!! Like you, I really don't care what other people think these days!!!

Well kyratango you have to look a few days back like I did ;). I can't imagine how many nice posts I must have missed when I was away from CW for a while. But happy to see this necklace and that there seams to be some new jewelry collectors on CW, which is great.
