Edited by Ruth Berolzheimer. This book was first released in 1938 and the last copyright date in this one is 1941 so likely from 1941 -1942. There was a wartime edition released after this one so I am thinking 1941-1942 is fairly solid.
As can be seen in photo 2 it is indexed with cutouts. With over 800 pages that comes in handy.
It is filled with fine color photos of the various recipes inside. Looks like these were made by professional chefs.
Despite all my kitchenalia I have little time to cook but will see if I can some venison, duck or beanie weenies.
Wonderful old cookbook!!
Very nice! I don't like to cook, but do enjoy flipping through old cookbooks!
First glance I thought it was a bible!
Thank you very much TassieDevil.
Thank you very much Efesgirl. This is a good one for flipping through.
Thank you very much fleafinder. Also looks like a dictionary.
Still in great shape....... pages look almost mint! [;>)
Thank you very much NevadaBlades. A bit rougher on the outside but that gives it character.
